LMS 4-6-0 46100 "Royal Scot"

LMS 4-6-0 46100 "Royal Scot" is seen here in late 2015 at Kidderminster shortly after returning to traffic after overhaul. Photo Don Clarke.

This locomotive was built at Derby Works (as 6152) in 1930 but changed to 6100 (LMS numbering) in 1933 for a tour of the USA and Canada. Designed by Henry Fowler, it originally had a parallel boiler but was rebuilt by BR in 1950 with a taper boiler. More details on the Royal Scot website.
