
GWR 2-6-2T Large Prairie tank 4160 photographed at Minehead during the WSR Spring 2011 steam gala. Withdrawn
in 1965 4160 spent years in Barry scrapyard until it was rescued. It is normally resident on
the West Somerset Railway. The engine, built at
Swindon in 1949, is a member of the 5101 Class of "Large Prairies",
a modification by Collett of Churchward's 1903 3100 Class.
