Believe me, you get a HUGE amount of satisfaction out of some old and decrepid item to "as new" condition and plenty of people will thank you for your time and effort. We need "all trades" - even if you don't have a trade there are plenty of "on-the-job" training opportunities for anyone with even a moderate amount of flair for DIY. We tend to congregate on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also on Sundays. Even one day a week would be welcomed with open arms. If not you, someone you know?
